Let’s face it, none of us like change. Nothing ruins our day more than disruptions; especially those disruptions that have to do with our day-today routine.
What am I talking about? Let’s cite a few scenarios…
You go to the breakroom and your favorite coffee is not available. Your new assistant bought what was on sale. Or worse – you like regular cream in your coffee and what’s on the refrigerator door… almond milk. Right there my entire would be ruined!
You go to the restroom, and you discover your soft plush toilet paper has been replaced by a less expensive 2-ply paper.
You come into the office the day after the cleaners have been in and you don’t smell in the infamous scent of Fabuloso.
You go to change your ink in your desktop printer, only to discover the storage closets are stocked with generic cartridge replacements. (This can’t be good-you “think” it will leak inside your printer)
Okay, I named a few examples of what can throw off our day. (The coffee would be my number one pet peeve but most ladies will probably say the two-ply toilet paper is a deal breaker.)
So, why the change? Let’s take a look.
Favorite Coffee – It may be discontinued. We have over 100 different coffee varieties and flavors to choose from; sure to please even the pickiest aficionados. …the almond milk on the other hand… well let’s just say the new assistant is a health nut, that’s all.
Regarding toilet paper, most name brands were in shortage. Shipping containers from overseas prevented name brands from entering the American markets. So less expesive toilet paper options are cost effective, efficient and in-stock.
Fabuloso – The makers of Fabuloso are geniuses. Most of us identify “clean” with the scent of Fabuloso. The truth of the matter is, this product doesn’t clean at all, it just moves dirt around on the floor.
Generic Ink Cartridges – just a great deal!! They work just as good for ½ the price of name brands (so someone at work is doing their job very wisely).
What does this all mean? It means the times are a changing due to the supply and demand chain. What used to be easily accessible, and within an arm’s reach, is now on a long wait list or just unavailable. Now is the best time to explore options and try new products. The best part about change is that you may find you like a product better and receive great quality for the price! (why didn’t we think of this before!)
